Michael Canet, JD, LLM
Michael is the founder and director of Practice Management Group and a four-time Amazon bestselling author for works including “Surviving the Perfect Storm: How to Create a Financial Plan That Will Withstand any Crisis” and “Nothing is Certain Except for Death and Taxes...Until NOW.” He is also the host of the syndicated television show “The Savvy Investor” as well as host of “The Savvy Investor Radio” which can be heard across the United States and wherever you get your podcasts.
With almost 50% of his clients gained through referrals, Michael has built his business and reputation on providing comprehensive tax, estate, and financial planning to carefully allocate his clients’ assets so they can retire with the added confidence, income, and tax-free wealth protection they need and deserve. He and his team are dedicated to exceeding expectations by providing accessibility and ongoing services for not only his clients, but their families too.
In addition to running his firm, Michael is a sought-after mentor and speaker by Financial Advisors across the country, teaching them the skills they need to not only run a successful practice, but to bring the expertise and experience to their clients.
Michael earned his Master’s Degree (LLM) in Taxation from the University of Baltimore and graduated from Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America. After residing in Howard County for nearly 40 years, Michael now resides in Orlando, Florida. He and his wife of 40 years, Helen, have raised two sons, Michael and Brian.
